Katha- Our Story

In 1988, we asked ourselves two questions,
What do you do in a country which has 400 languages, where most children who speak them cannot read?
How do we enhance the joy of reading?

We thought,
STORY -“KATHA”

Twenty two years later, this rather simple concept continues to delight, enchant, teach millions and inspire them onto a path of lifelong learning and self reliance.
