The Katha All in School Mission [KASM],
a quality
education-for-all drive, ensures that all our children complete school upto grade
12. Many of our children are in colleges; others are working in mainstream organizations.
Balika Mandal: This adolescent girls Group focuses
on building up the attitude and values in adolescent girls (13-19 years).
It strives to break down the stereotype thinking about gender and social
issues as well as builds up strong role models for young girls. It is the
epitome of empowerment issues, actively encouraging education for girls
and emphasizing how education and empowerment means fewer maternal deaths
at the child birth, lower infant mortality rate, fewer but healthier children
who live longer.
Kala Nivas: Four ARTS Centre
One of the most exciting centers of learning at Katha. It offers:

Katha Pitara, the Rs. 10 bookshop for children, promotes the joy of reading
among students.

Special Feature Of Katha Lab School
Career guidance is given in the Career Pathways session to
each class.
All pupils in class 10 have the opportunity of undertaking
a two weeks work placement in a wide range of placements
in local industry/commerce/community and of gaining a certificate
of Accreditation if certain outcomes are successfully completed.
Everyone in class 11 will have contact with Careers Advise
who help by:
- Giving advice and information about career
- Discussing courses /training programme/jobs
- Giving information about job vacancies and other
opportunities
