Katha has always believed in the power of community, and has consistently worked towards bringing writers, translators, illustrators, academics, students and the reading public together to discuss, debate, argue, ideate and ultimately, to celebrate the written word.
Katha is one of the few organizations that regularly enlarges its pool of contributors in innovative ways. It is only because of these efforts that today we can boast of a happy convergence of over 300 writers from 21 languages, and a host of brilliant illustrators and sensitive translators.
